Active Network Management (ANM) and future roll-out
We will continue to engage with stakeholders on our strategy and roll-out of ANM and future solutions.
We have continued to engage with interested stakeholders on the development and roll-out of our Active Network Management (ANM) solutions, with updates given at our Connections Customer Forums and ICP Seminars, webinars and an online Q&A session on the topic. The continued development of these solutions is important because it enables network operators to deliver more new connections in areas of its network where the capacity is constrained but there is potential network flexibility available.
We are committed to developing new and innovative solutions that address any constraints on on our network and to help as many customers as possible to get connected to our network. An example of this is the deployment of our first, replicable ANM scheme on our network in Driffield, Yorkshire.
Many of our customers have expressed an interest in how the Driffield ANM solution could be applied to other areas of our network. We listened and acted on that feedback, keeping our stakeholders informed at various engagements throughout the course of the year.
We gave a presentation on our ANM strategy and roll-out at our Connections Customer Forum in November 2018, the slides from the event are available here. We also provided an update at our ICP Seminar and DG owner operator forum.
On the 13 February 2019 we held a webinar and live Q&A where we signposted areas of our network we have identified for roll out future ANM solutions. A recording is available on our YouTube channel for anyone unable who was unable to join the live webinar but would be interested in learning more about our plans and associated timelines.
