This will help us to identify your premises, determine land ownership, and ensure that any impact to third-party land is understood. The plan should be free of unnecessary detail and be suitable for use as a background layer for our proposals to be prepared.
The site location plan, with the boundary and the proposed meter positions clearly marked, is part of the minimum information we require you to provide.
You can use our online mapping tool to submit your site location plan or alternatively provide an ordnance survey or land registry plan. If you are struggling to provide us with a site location plan, our team can assist you.
Our Open Data portal offers access to data and information about our distribution network, including capacity availability.
There are 3 parties involved when it comes to moving your electrical service. Northern Powergrid are responsible for moving the service cable and mains fuse, your electricity supplier is responsible for moving your electricity meter, and you will need to arrange for them to attend at an appropriate time on the day of the works. You will also need to contact a qualified electrician to conduct any work on your own internal wiring.
