#StormBert We’re still working for our customers
Steve McDonald, Director of Field Operations said, “Storm Bert has brought wind, snow and rain throughout today across the North East, Yorkshire and North Lincolnshire, and our teams were ready to respond for our customers.
“We have now successfully restored power to 25,600 customers affected and as we head into the night, we are continuing to work safely on getting our remaining customers back on as quickly as we can.
“Our customer care teams are also out in the community with our specialist vans where customers can get a hot drink and charge their devices.
“We will do everything we can to prioritise getting our customers’ lights back on whilst keeping our teams safe.
“However, there will be some customers who may be without power through the night. We know how difficult this can be, and we thank our customers for their continued support and patience.
“Our online power cut map will continue to bring live-time updates, and our customer service team are available 24/7 for any customer queries.
“If anyone needs any additional support, please get in touch and we’ll do everything we can to help.”
