We're here for our customers whatever the weather through Storm Bert

Our teams have been able to restore 24,500 customers whose power has been affected by the storm.

Over 27,000 customers have had their power affected with Northumberland, County Durham, and Tyne and Wear being our most affected areas.

Our contact centre teams have answered more than three times our usual call volumes with support from colleagues across the business answering customer queries.

Whilst the weather continues to provide challenges for our teams, we will continue to work into the evening and work as quickly as we can to safely restore all those who are still experiencing a power cut.

Our teams from across the region are making their way to areas most affected to help with the effort to repair any damage.

We understand the impact this has and thank customers for their patience whilst our teams continue to work hard to get the lights back on.
