As at 18.00
Our teams have worked throughout today restore power to 99.6% of customers impacted by Storm Éowyn.
-
We’re on the final push, working into the evening to restore the last 500 customers remaining without power and we’re down to less than 35 repairs left to complete in Northumberland, County Durham, and Tyne & Wear.
-
We expect to get all customers affected by Storm Éowyn back on this evening, but there is a risk that a very small number of customers will remain without power overnight.
-
If you are one of the few customers who are at risk of being without power overnight, we will be in touch with you to let you know. You can continue to check our progress on the power cut map.
-
All of our available teams are prioritising work in the areas which have been affected since Friday.
-
As a result, customers who have had power cuts following the high winds yesterday may experience longer wait times for their power to come back on.
-
For any customers who have been without power for over 24 hours power we will continue to provide any additional support and welfare needed.
