NORTHERN POWERGRID ANNOUNCES ELECTRIFYING LINE UP FOR ITS NET ZERO FOR THE NORTH CONFERENCE

Northern Powergrid, the company responsible for the electricity network that powers the lives of more than 8 million customers across the North East, Yorkshire and northern Lincolnshire, has revealed the line-up of speakers for its highly anticipated Net Zero for the North Conference.
Taking place on Thursday 21 March at the iconic Baltic Centre for Contemporary Art in Gateshead, this important event aims to put the region on the map for driving forward decarbonisation.
Phil Jones, President and CEO of Northern Powergrid, will take to the stage to explain how the network operator is enabling decarbonisation and empowering the customers and communities it serves to achieve net zero.
Northern Powergrid is also pleased to welcome Denise McGuckin, Managing Director of Hartlepool Borough Council, who will share invaluable insights into the pivotal role that local government has to play in driving forward decarbonisation initiatives.
In addition to the keynote presentations, the conference will feature a panel discussion, interactive workshops and networking opportunities intended to foster collaboration and inspire action.
